As writers or somebody that loves writing, we have this idea of what perfection is: no mistakes, spelling errors, misplaced commas, run-on sentences, wrong word choice, improper quotations, etc.etc. However, in reality, everybody makes mistakes. Believe it, or not everybody has a bad writing habit that may seem frustrating, but we have to think about this like it is life. In life, we have to pass through the shortcomings and not focus primarily on controlling and fixing. We can work as hard to be this person who may seem "perfect," but we are not in reality.
Fix what you can now, take mental notes, and remember that mistakes do happen, and without them, there is no open space for growth. Sometimes we have to get out of the habit of trying to be as perfect because, during those times, we tend to make the weirdest mistakes. Stop overthinking your imperfections because nobody is flawless, and stop downing yourself for your errors.
