When writing, I have always wondered why the anticipation can be exciting, while at other times, anticipation mostly feels like a ball of confusion. Have you ever wondered if your next piece of work will be worth something to your audience. What about how they may react to it, how they may grasp the content, and in other words, would it be purposeful for them to understand? The most valuable thing with anticipation is whether your work is at your best or your worst. Will you receive the feedback you want for your work? Will people relate to it?
Anticipation can lead you to wonder what you're writing for and whether it will have a great outcome or not. For some, it may be excitement, a push, or a step forward. However, some may feel stuck in looking at the futuristic items because the focus on the present is no more. Some may be used to thinking 5-steps ahead that the present is not there anymore. It's like you're living in 2050, when in reality, you're still in 2020. So don't lose time with anticipation, take a step back, and focus on your present skills and abilities, and write.
